Not to get political, but I read the comments about activities being done “with” an unborn baby as being more about the right wing trying to define personhood at conception. I’ve seen it before in Facebook statuses.. mothers-to-be referring to their unborn children as having opinions on what’s happening in the outside world based on how they’re responding in-utero.
